EDGE Water Sports specializes in offering a once-in-a-lifetime water sports experience. EDGE is a week long camp which invites individuals 18 and under who are either water sports experts, or want to learn more, to come out for a week of fun on the lake. Each participant is able to declare a water sports "major", being either water skiing (double and slalom), barefooting, wakeboarding, or kneeboarding. Throughout the week, each participant will spend mornings on the lake working on his major, then during the day will have the opportunity to do all of the other majors, along with wake surfing, tubing, air-charing, and many other water sports. Mornings start with breakfast at the cabins, then at 7:30am, the ski and wakeboard boats load up and take participants out on the water for some fun. Morning sessions run until about 11:30, then participants have a chance to relax before lunch. After lunch, there is free time, during which boats will be going in and out of the dock taking participants tubing, and every once and a while out to the sand bar for a swim. After a few hours of afternoon session, dinner is served and the bonfire starts! Typically, there is an evening session, depending on the water conditions, which lasts from 7:30 anywhere until 9:30pm. Every day is a little different, and we have tons of activities to do throughout the typical day. Participants check in between 3 and 4pm on Saturday, and check out for participants the following Saturday between 10:30 and 11am. Every Saturday morning, there is a final "ski show" from 7:30 to 9:30am, which parents are encouraged to attend. EDGE Camp's first week is Saturday, June 4th, and our camp fills up fast! Our group sizes are small (15 or less), so there is a very one-on-one experience for each participant, and all participants make life-long friends at EDGE. Camp rates include all meals, lodging, and lessons-- It's all-inclusive! This just might be the best way to spend a week of summer! Wooded cabins on a crystal clear lake.
